Abstract: Academic Java acts as a teaching resource, the tool contains many examples that provide visual feedback of a program's execution. It provides support for those learners who would otherwise require intensive one-on-one help.
Description: Academic Java uses the simple interface to compile and manage the (step-by-step) running of simple tutorial programs (many of which provide a run-time commentary) It is helpful for learning simple debug and editing skills testing their knowledge through the many quiz programs Also,it accesses the library programs to extend their knowledge of topics such as 2D graphics and Swing.
